It is just a few hundred meters from the Livigno Dairy that a wide, atmospheric path through the woods begins, skirting the lake and leading you to the Goat Bridge. The entire dirt section is flat, with some very easy false-flat sections that are suitable for even the most inexperienced bikers and still enjoyable for even the most advanced bikers.
The dirt trail ends at the finish of Ponte delle Capre and resumes just after the bridge, before the only real climb that culminates at Ristoro Val Alpisella. This is a very short but fairly steep climb, in contrast to the false-floors in the rest of the trail. Once at Ristoro Val Alpisella, the route returns to the starting point, following the same route as on the way up and again offering the same magnificent views of Lake Livigno and a complete immersion in nature. This route is one of the most accessible ways to explore the wildest part of Livigno and fully enjoy the beauty of its lake.
