The ascent to Mount Padrio is considered by ski mountaineering enthusiasts to be little more than a simple walk due to the slight elevation gain of the trail (360 m).
Starting from the Trivigno cross-country ski hut, one initially travels along a section of snow-covered road and, upon reaching a fork in the road, continues to the right following an intuitable route that leads over small crags and to a plateau leading to the summit.
The descent is by the ascent route.
From the summit of Mount Padrio there is a 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding mountains; an orographic disc allows you to get your bearings and find out the names of all the main peaks.
To tackle the Trivigno-Monte Padrio ski mountaineering route, it is recommended to take normal ski mountaineering equipment (ARTVA, shovel and probe) and consult the nivo-meteorological bulletin.
