Dalla piazzetta del paese si percorre la strada estiva che porta al rifugio Forni. Si percorrono inizialmente km. 1,5 di fondovalle per poi in localita' Nassegno salire verso le baite di Miravalle. Una discreta salita porta al ristoro Stella Alpina chiuso dove da qui si scorge il rifugio Forni in lontananza. 800 mt di leggera salita e si giunge al cospetto del rifugio Forni con vista sul ghiacciaio omonimo. Da meta' marzo il rifugio e' aperto sia come bar ristorante che come pernottamento.
