Snowboarders take your board and surf along the slops of Bormio, surrounded by the beautiful peaks of the Ortles Cevedale Massif. From the end of November until April, you will find at your disposal more than 31 miles (50 km) of slopes and 15 ski lifts on Mount Vallecetta, and you can board nonstop from Bormio 3000 all the way to the town of Bormio. You can also try your snowboard on the beautiful slopes of S. Caterina Valfurva, Cima Piazzi/Happy Mountain in Valdidentro, and Oga/S. Colombano, in Valdisotto. And for the fanatics of riding the snow even in summer, another 12.4 miles (20 km) of slopes await you from May to November at the Stelvio Pass resort, for snowboarding on the glacier.
Bormio Snowpark: live the dream
The Bormio Snowpark is the ideal place for the lovers of ski and snowboard freestyle. The park, built on the side of the Stella Alpina ski run, is easy to reach with the triple chairlift from Bormio 2000 to Pian dei Larici.
The Bormio snowpark is 1640 feet (500 meters) long and descends 656 feet (200 meters), it offers:
