Outdoor cliffs and crags
There are many nearby outdoor areas where one can practice sports climbing and bouldering on natural rock, and which have many routes of differing levels of difficulty. Among those most popular we suggest, the natural cliffs near Bagni Vecchi, those of Cancano and those of Isolaccia in Valdidentro. Plus, there are also cliffs in Valfurva, Val Zebrù, in Val Forni, and near the Gavia Pass.
Before you embark on a climb we recommend that you contact the local Mountain guides, who can give you all the necessary and useful information about the rock walls and their degrees of difficulty.
And in winter, ice climbing frozen waterfalls
For those who love climbing throughout the year, you can try the exhilaration of ice climbing on frozen waterfalls. Equipped with crampons, ice axes, ropes, and a suitable climbing partner or local mountain guide, you will experience a totally new climbing sensation!
