Malga S. Colombano – Oga

Malga S. Colombano-Pozza-Sposina Bassa-Forte di Oga-Crap del Maro-Oga (trail N280)

Starting from the Malga S. Colombano, this route winds downhill along the trail N280, which is a forest service road. Along the trail you will pass Pozza, Sposina Bassa, and the Forte di Oga, named after the Valtellina’s captain Venini and built between 1908 and 1912, and used in defense of the main alpine passes during World War I. Continuing along the trail, one reaches the village of Crap del Maro, and the center of Oga.

Lake Campaccio

Monte – Campello – Campaccio – Lago of Campaccio (trail N273 /N208)

The trail climbs from the parking lot in the village of Monte. From Monte after following trail N273 in a northwest direction you will reach the mountain huts of Campello. From Campello, proceed along the trail to the west, where you will intercept a short part of the trail N208, and then continue up to the Malga Campaccio. Above the malga, climbing in a south-eastern direction, you will find the alpine lake Campaccio. The itinerary is characterized by the presence of springs, scenic spots, and of artistic interest, the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is in the village of Monte.
