Starting from 18,00 €On Sunday December 7th, Sondalo is preparing to once again experience the sweet atmosphere of Strade di Cioccolato, the most delicious winter event in Alta Valtellina, now in its twelfth edition. The event is promoted by the Li Simenza Association – Young Sondalo, in collaboration with APT Sondalo, local associations, and numerous volunteers.
The historic center will transform into a suggestive path through the ancient streets of the town, where participants can immerse themselves in the enchantment of Christmas and discover a stage itinerary dedicated to a sweet treat with ancient origins.
The formula is now well established; entry to the event is free, but to enjoy various tastings and have the chance to participate in the final prize draw, it is necessary to purchase a ticket (which includes the cup and activities) in advance or on the day of the event. The route will develop in 5 stages along the streets of Sondalo's historic center. Each stage will offer sweet surprises: hot chocolate, but not only that, many sweet surprises await you.
ENTERTAINMENT, FUN AND CHRISTMAS MARKETS
There will be no shortage of Santa Claus's village and activities for the little ones with workshops and lots of fun. The Elves and the now indispensable Grinch are waiting for you. Music, entertainment, and many novelties that we will reveal along the way. To complete the Christmas atmosphere, one street will be entirely dedicated to the Christmas Markets, featuring artisanal proposals and gift ideas. It will also be possible to purchase the traditional calendar in the Sondalino dialect “Al nòs tacuīn del 2026”.
