GALP Gallery presents Dialogues on Liquid Reality: a two-person exhibition where the sense of lightness and fluid movement communicated by Patrizi's and Dall'Osso's works allow us to hold on to the moment that escapes from our hands. It is true: nothing is still, immutable or eternal - Patrizi and Dall'Osso's works seem to say - but beauty can anchor us in reality. With this idea, we want to propose an exhibition that allows us to remember how the present is elusive, but necessary to live in.
The works of artists Valeria Patrizi and Davide Dall'Osso selected for the exhibition investigate the theme of creation as a synergic relationship with matter. This is conceived as an independent, liquid entity, free to nestle in the folds of the canvases, to crystallise in sinuous forms, to stop movement at the apex of its own fulfilment. The artistic process translates into a rough, sensual dance, a flamenco, where the will of the creator and the created collide, giving rise to open, evanescent impressions in the making.
