The Bormio Civic Library, in collaboration with the Culture Department, is organising "Una montagna di Parole - Leggi Bormio" (A mountain of words - Read Bormio), a series of meetings with various authors.
Reading and discussion of the book "Primordiale bellezza" (Primordial Beauty) by Lucia Valcepina published by Dominioni. The author talks with Adelia Martinelli.
The life of a pioneer of Italian abstractionism, with a mild and stubborn nature, who claimed not to have been in the Resistance but simply "resistance". From the evenings in the company of abstractionists and rationalists, in a Como forge of art and modernity, to the lacerating experience of Mauthausen that devastated her family, in the midst of the great changes and fractures that marked the 20th century up to the arduous phase of Reconstruction, Carla Badiali's existence is a constant search for auroral, primordial beauty, even where horror takes over.
